National cuisine is perhaps the most exciting way to get to know a country. And definitely the most honest. Here, no one will throw dust in your eyes with grand avenues and museums intended for admiration.

In fact, what we eat and drink reflects history, traditions, and national character. So this tour is not only damn delicious, but also incredibly exciting, rich and fun.

Why herring has become the most famous national dish? Why smoked eel has caused riots? How can you change the world for the better with chocolate or beer? How not to get lost in the abundance of cheeses and choose the best? Why oysters became a joy for mushroom pickers? All this - and much more - we will not only discuss, but we will also taste it!
Breakfast is included in the tour.

Our gastronomic tour will have many stops, ranging from fast food eateries to solid establishments.

We will start with breakfast in an unusual and absolutely fabulous place. And then, while walking around the old city, we will pay close attention to the Dutch essentials: cheese and herring. We'll learn which exotic dishes came to Amsterdam during the colonial era, which dinners were served on a farm, and which dishes are popular among young people from Amsterdam.

We will try a variety of drinks and dishes from oysters to delicious chocolate chip cookies. And each of them will tell a story. And so, in between, with a glass of beer or an apple pie, we'll slowly figure out what kind of people these Dutch are - how they live, what they love and appreciate, and what they don't. Meanwhile, we'll learn a lot about the city itself. It is not for nothing that we have chosen the most picturesque streets for a walk.

We literally taste the life of farmers and aristocrats, hipsters and the bourgeois. And we will finish our tour in a real local "brown" bar of the 17th century with an excellent selection of local beer and liquors!
How many days in advance should you book a private tour?
It's advisable to decide on tours you would like to take as early as possible, ideally to book them right after buying your airplane tickets. That way we will make sure we have a guide for you and our meeting will definitely take place :) If you make a last-minute decision to take a tour, do not hesitate to contact us either. We will do our best to arrange a guide for you to show you the country.
Where and when do we meet?
We will definitely agree on it well in advance! Then, two days before the tour date, a reminding email with the name and the phone number of your guide, the exact location of the meeting point and its photo will be sent to you. Please do not miss this letter. Thanks! :)
Can you plan a multi-day program for me?
Sure. We love to plan individual programs more than anything else. In addition to our existing tours, a boat or a yacht trip could be included; a hot air balloon flight, designer shops and art gallery tours, various workshops, tastings, university tours, castle visiting and much, much more. In addition, we adore arranging multi-day bicycle trip programs around the country. Arranging an individual program is a paid service. Let us know your personal wishes and we will do our best to make it happen!
Perhaps, you still have some questions. This is what we get asked about most of the time.
