National cuisine is perhaps the most exciting way to get to know a country. And definitely the most honest. Here, no one will throw dust in your eyes with grand avenues and museums intended for admiration.

In fact, what we eat and drink reflects history, traditions, and national character. So this tour is not only damn delicious, but also incredibly exciting, rich and fun.

Why herring has become the most famous national dish? Why smoked eel has caused riots? How can you change the world for the better with chocolate or beer? How not to get lost in the abundance of cheeses and choose the best? Why oysters became a joy for mushroom pickers? All this - and much more - we will not only discuss, but we will also taste it!

Our gastronomic tour will have many stops, ranging from fast food eateries to «brown» bars.

We will start with a piece of pie in an unusual and absolutely fabulous place. And then, while walking around the old city, we will pay close attention to the Dutch essentials: cheese and herring. We'll learn which exotic dishes came to Amsterdam during the colonial era, which dinners were served on a farm, and which dishes are popular among young people from Amsterdam.

We will try a variety of drinks and dishes from Dutch bitterballen to delicious chocolate chip cookies. And each of them will tell a story. And so, in between, with a glass of beer or an apple pie, we'll slowly figure out what kind of people these Dutch are - how they live, what they love and appreciate, and what they don't. Meanwhile, we'll learn a lot about the city itself. It is not for nothing that we have chosen the most picturesque streets for a walk.

We literally taste the life of farmers and aristocrats, hipsters and the bourgeois. And we will finish our tour in a real local "brown" bar of the 17th century with an excellent selection of local beer and liquors!

We recommend this tour to everyone who has no dietary restrictions. Let us know please if you do have them. We will definitely find a chance to offer you something else not less exciting and delicious.
Perhaps, you still have some questions. This is what we get asked about most of the time.
